What is Andarine?
Andarine, also known as S-4 and GTx-007, is a drug that belongs to the Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators, or SARMs for short. These compounds are being researched and developed as a possible safer alternative to anabolic-androgenic steroids (
Andarine was initially developed to treat osteoporosis and muscle wasting. It quickly became popular among bodybuilders and athletes because of its muscle building and fat burning capabilities.
How does Andarine work?
Andarine works much in the same way as anabolic steroids. Both target the androgen receptors in the body, resulting in an increase in muscle mass, enhanced fat burning and faster recovery.
But unlike anabolic steroids, SARMS, such as S-4, are more selective in the type of tissue they target. While anabolic steroids target all androgen receptors in the body, Andarine mainly targets the receptors in skeletal muscle, and the eyes.

Side effects of Andarine
There are two side effects associated with the use of Andarine.
- Testosterone suppression
- Impaired vision
Andarine, like every other SARM, suppresses your natural production of Testosterone to a certain degree. However, it is far less suppressive than anabolic steroids.
The common dosage for Andarine is 25mg per day, which equals 1ml. While 50mg per day will be more effective, it will also lead to more side-effects.
