What is Cardarine?
Cardarine, also known as GW501516 and Endurobol, is not a SARM. In reality it is a PPAR receptor agonist initially developed for the treatment of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. While it is no longer being researched for medical purposes, it is popular among athletes and bodybuilders because of the benefits it has on enhancing endurance and stamina.
How does it work?
Cardarine works by binding to and activating PPAR-delta in your cells (primarily in your muscles), and by stimulating the genes responsible for energy use.
As a result, it can increase energy levels, burn more fat, and enhance endurance, lowering blood lipid levels.
Studies have shown many effects, including:
- Boosts fat burning
- Enhances endurance
- Reduces recovery time
- Lowers HDL cholesterol levels
The common dosage for Cardarine is 20mg per day, which equals 1ml. Since this compound has a half-life of 16 hours, many people prefer to split the dose and take 10mg in the morning and 10mg in the evening.
GW-501516 is often stacked with other SARMs for cutting purposes. A popular stack combines Cardarine with Ostarine for optimal results.
Cardarine side effects
There are no known side effects associated with Cardarine use to date. Unlike most fat loss drugs, GW-501516 does not stimulate the nervous system. There are no reported side-effects in the human studies performed.
