YK-11 liquid

YK-11 is one of the newest SARMs (Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators) that is currently undergoing research. Unlike other SARMs such as MK-2866, LGD-4033, and RAD-140, it is steroidal in nature. It is argued by some that YK11 doesn’t quality as a SARM and that it’s just a synthetic anabolic steroid.

YK11 closely resembles the structure of DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) and just like DHT, it is a partial agonist of the androgen receptor. Besides being a SARM, it is also a myostatin inhibitor. Myostatin also referred to as growth and differentiation factor-8 is a protein secreted in muscle tissues. It limits muscle cell growth.

How does YK-11 liquid work?

YK11 binds to the androgen receptors in the skeletal muscles. As a result, it increases muscle mass and support and enhances muscle tissue growth.

It also inhibits myostatin, resulting in strong YK-11 anti-catabolic properties. Research results show that YK-11 simply aims to increase follistatin levels. Follistatin is another naturally occurring protein in the human body which helps keep myostatin in check.

YK-11 binds itself to the androgen receptors inducing muscles that create more follistatin.  As a result, myostatin levels are reduced. Myostatin is a protein that limits the growth of skeletal muscle. This in term increase muscle mass.
